twine makes it easy for Zoom hosts to create connection by enabling advanced breakout rooms and speed networking.

As a Zoom meeting host, you may experience some of these common issues when running your twine. Below are some tips and tricks on how to solve these issues to ensure a smooth experience.

1. Group sizes are larger or smaller than expected

To create a template, use our app to configure your breakout rooms the way you want them to run during your meeting. Select from one of the matchmaking modes or visual breakouts and build your breakout rooms.

  1. On the home screen, click "Create a Breakout"

  2. On the next screen, select your breakout mode, name your breakout & input your breakout settings. Once you are done, you can either save your template by clicking "Save" or you can click "Launch"

  3. If you click "Launch", you'll see a pop up appear once the breakout launches that prompts you to save your template, click "Save to templates"

  4. You will then be prompted to name your template. Select and input a name for your template and then click "Save template"

  5. Once you end your breakout room, you will be taken back to the home screen of the twine for Zoom app. On this page, you'll see your template saved under "Breakouts"

  6. When you are ready to use your template, click "Launch" and your breakout will launch with all of your settings pre-configured and ready for you

  7. If you need to modify or delete your template, click the ... icon next to your breakout template and select edit or delete
